Kangaroo
Whatever enemies we may be facing, be it sickness, poverty, loneliness, fear, etc., we can be safe from them in Jesus, just as this joey is safe from the dingos in his mother’s pouch.
Be Kind to Goats
Jesus teaches us to show love and kindness to our neighbor, even if our neighbor treats us unkindly in return.
Obedient Canary
Obedience to God’s commands may seem as confining as a birdcage to some. But in His commands we find peace, security, prosperity, and true freedom. And what are His commands? 1 John 3:23 tells us to believe in the name of Jesus, and to love one another.
Church Tea Party
In 1773, the American revolutionaries resisted the British authorities and their tea tax by dumping the British tea into Boston Harbor. As Christians, we are also in resistance against the evil spiritual rulers and authorities of Satan’s kingdom.
Anchor
Adverse circumstances surrounding us could easily drive us into despair. And yet we have a hope that keeps us from sinking. That hope rests on Jesus, and what He did for us on the cross.
Archer
One way that parents can make sure that their arrows (children) hit the target of God’s plan for their lives is by instilling in them good, Biblical training in childhood. Proverbs 22:6 says “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
Shine The Light
As Christians, we should be willing to allow the Holy Spirit to shine His light of Truth into our lives, even into some dark corners that we might rather not be exposed, so that He can deal with any problems we may have. God is not looking to condemn us, but He wants us to be completely free from sin and any bad habits.
Strike It Rich
Through prayerful Bible study, we can dig out nuggets of truth in God’s Word. In 1 Timothy 3:9, Paul reminds us to “keep hold of the deep truths of the faith”.
The Lord is my Strength
Whatever weight we may have to lift, it is good to know that our older brother Jesus is there to give us His strength to lift it.
